Each year over 2 million people in United States are affected by traumatic brain injury. A TBI (traumatic brain injury) Clubhouse is a supportive network of members and volunteers who participate in social, recreational and work-oriented programs for the purpose of using and developing practical and functional living skills.

HansonHouse Traumatic Brain Injury Clubhouse is the first program in Ohio based upon the true Clubhouse model of community re-entry for people with traumatic brain injury.

Text Box: VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR TBI STUDY Volunteers are needed for a TBI STUDY relating eye movements and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI). The study takes place in the Ocular Motility Lab at the VA hospital. You will wear a headband-mounted set of cameras while you track the movements of simple and complex patterns of moving lights. The session will last about an hour, including an explanation of the task and the recording. Requirements for participation include: - age between 18 and 45 years old - have normal vision (glasses/contacts ok) - a head injury/concussion during OIF?OEF deployment - no other neurological conditions For more information contact Dr. Jonathon Jacobs at 216-421-3224 or email jxj24@case.edu
